PUNE: India startup funding stood at $61.65 million across 16 funding rounds during the October 2–8, 2026 period, according to the weekly India Funding Tracker by Sahyadri Startups and Tracxn.
The funding total declined 69.08% from $199.37 million recorded in the previous week and was 45.9% lower than the $113.95 million raised in the last-to-last week.
The latest India startup funding activity included a mix of seed and early-stage rounds, with early-stage companies accounting for the largest share of capital raised during the week.
India Startup Funding Records 16 Rounds
The tracker recorded 16 funding rounds during October 2–8, compared with 17 rounds in the previous week and 15 rounds in the last-to-last week.
Total India startup funding of $61.65 million was raised during the period. This represented a 69.08% decline from the previous week’s $199.37 million and a 45.9% decline from the $113.95 million raised during the week of September 18–24.
The funding activity was led by early-stage rounds, followed by seed-stage funding.
Early-Stage Funding Leads Activity
Early-stage funding emerged as the largest contributor to India startup funding during the week, with companies raising $50.98 million through Series A and Series B rounds.
The early-stage funding total increased from $10.2 million in the previous week and $16.61 million during the last-to-last week.
Seed-stage funding, which includes seed and angel rounds, stood at $10.67 million during October 2–8. This was higher than the $9.17 million raised in the previous week but lower than the $12.34 million recorded during the last-to-last week.
There was no late-stage funding during the current period. Late-stage funding includes Series C and above, private equity and unattributed rounds.
The previous week recorded $180 million in late-stage funding, while the last-to-last week saw $85 million.
Lumio Tops India’s Funding Deals
Lumio emerged as the top-funded company during the October 2–8 period, raising $12 million in a Series A round. The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2024, offers smart audio-video devices and displays.
Lumio’s round was led by Blume, with Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital among the institutional investors.
Beyond Appliances ranked second among the week’s top deals after raising $11.42 million in a Series B round.
The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2012, operates a platform offering smart chimneys. Fireside Ventures led the round, with Dharana also participating.
Quanfluence was the third-largest deal of the week, raising $10 million through a Series A round.
Founded in 2021 and based in Bengaluru, the company provides quantum computing systems and services. Chiratae led the round, with Rainmatter and Pi Ventures participating.
ByteXL raised $9 million in a Series B round, making it the fourth-largest deal during the period.
The Hyderabad-based company offers an online platform providing tools and training to learn coding. Elevate Equity led the round, with Kalaari and Dell participating.
Sunfox completed the fifth-largest funding round, raising $7 million through a Series A round. The Dehradun-based company, founded in 2016, provides ultra-portable AI ECG devices designed to enable precise heart diagnosis via smartphones.
Other Major Funding Rounds
Desible.ai raised $3.32 million in a seed round. Founded in 2025 and based in Bengaluru, the company provides an AI-powered multichannel communication engine for enterprise customer conversations. Prime Venture Partners led the round, with Invention Engine also participating.
CredFix raised $1.67 million in a seed round. The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2025, operates a debt resolution and financial recovery platform. Tanglin Venture Partners led the round, with Stargazer Growth participating.
Lorazzo raised $1.56 million through a Series A round. The Hisar-based company, founded in 2024, offers ergonomic bath and kitchen fittings.
Sauce led the round, with Panthera Peak, Alteria Capital and Sprout Venture Partners participating.
Ionage raised $1.3 million in a seed round. Founded in 2021 and based in Bengaluru, the company provides a software platform for electric vehicle charging and energy management.
Myca also raised $1.3 million in a seed round. The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2025, provides an operating system for managing agribusiness field operations.
KrisCore led the round, with Eximius Ventures and Indigram Labs participating.
CureMeAbroad raised $1.1 million in a seed round. Founded in 2025 and based in Pune, the company operates a network connecting individuals with medical facilities for various healthcare procedures.
ReFit Global raised $1 million through a seed round. The Delhi-based company, founded in 2018, is an online retailer of certified refurbished smartphones and pre-owned mobile devices.
Curvet raised $720,000 in a seed round. Founded in 2025 and based in Bengaluru, the company operates a no-code AI workflow platform.
Scooter raised $180,000 through a seed round. The Pune-based company, founded in 2024, provides an AI-driven sales hiring engine that assesses candidate performance.
Sober raised $77,877 in a seed round. Founded in 2022 and based in Kolkata, the company offers premium handcrafted ready-to-drink beverages.
TravClan also raised an undisclosed amount from Flipkart. The Delhi-based company, founded in 2018, operates a B2B platform for travel agents to purchase flights, hotels and packages.

3one4 Capital Among Most Active Venture Capital Firms
3one4 Capital emerged as the most active venture capital investor during the week based on the number of funding rounds. The firm participated in two rounds involving Lumio and Sunfox.
Fireside Ventures participated in one round involving Beyond Appliances, while Elevate Equity participated in ByteXL’s funding round.
Six IPOs Recorded During the Week
The tracker recorded six IPOs during October 2–8, compared with two IPOs in the previous week and one IPO in the last-to-last week.
AceVector recorded the highest market capitalization at IPO among the companies listed during the week, at $179.58 million. Founded in 2007 and based in Gurugram, the company provides digital commerce platforms and consumer retail brand products.
DoveSoft had a market capitalization of $28.04 million at IPO. The Mumbai-based company, founded in 2011, offers cloud communications solutions.
EverestIMS Technologies recorded a market capitalization of $19.04 million at IPO. Founded in 2017 and based in Bengaluru, the company provides AI-powered IT management and workflow automation solutions.
Sollfege recorded a market capitalization of $5.7 million at IPO. The Kolkata-based company, founded in 2012, operates an online retail platform for home audio, video, automation and personal care.
Shivchem Agro had a market capitalization of $4.82 million at IPO. Founded in 2020 and based in Delhi, the company manufactures chemical pesticides and fertilizers for agricultural crop management.
divena world recorded a market capitalization of $3.12 million at IPO. The Jaipur-based company, founded in 2020, provides women’s and men’s ethnic clothing online.
Two Acquisitions Recorded
The October 2–8 period also recorded two acquisitions, compared with one acquisition in the previous week and none in the last-to-last week.
UpTodd was acquired by Hoola on October 7, 2026, for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2019 and based in Noida, UpTodd operates an online platform for tracking and accessing the growth of infants.
Entab Infotech was acquired by Nelnet on October 5, 2026, for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2001 and based in Delhi, the company develops software for managing school administration, learning and websites.
India Startup Funding Trend Over 12 Months
The 12-month funding trend in the tracker shows fluctuations in India startup funding throughout the period from November 2025 to October 2026.
Funding stood at $804.9 million across 159 rounds in November 2025 and $783.1 million across 166 rounds in December 2025. January 2026 recorded $1.32 billion across 194 rounds, while February recorded $1.15 billion across 174 rounds.
March 2026 recorded the highest funding in the 12-month period at $2.42 billion across 195 rounds.
Funding subsequently stood at $663.5 million across 124 rounds in April, $728.7 million across 102 rounds in May, $1.4 billion across 116 rounds in June, $1.23 billion across 123 rounds in July and $1 billion across 87 rounds in August.
September 2026 recorded $839 million across 78 rounds. October 2026 recorded $62.8 million across 22 rounds in the tracker data for the month so far.
The October 2–8 period recorded $61.65 million across 16 rounds, with early-stage funding accounting for $50.98 million and seed-stage funding contributing $10.67 million.
